Half Price Hearing (HPH) is part of a small family company, and you can be assured that your orders are dealt with on an individual basis by Jill or Kathy in the same manner as all our mail and telephone orders are. The batteries and accessories on our site are intended for the use with digital and analogue hearing aids and the purchaser will accept full responsibility for their safe and appropriate use. Making a Purchase
We can accept orders and payments by telephone, fax, email and through our website. After you have placed your order on-line, we will send a confirmation email to you summarising the order and advising you of our terms and conditions. We accept payment in Pounds Sterling by cheques made payable to "Half Price Hearing", or by Maestro, Delta, VISA or MasterCard. The company name for these charges on your statement will be "Half Price Hearing Ltd".
When we receive your order, we carry out a standard pre-authorisation check on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfil the transaction. We will debit your payment card with the total cost of the order prior to your order being despatched.
If you place an order offline, you will be contacted by one of our representatives to arrange payment. If you decide to pay by cheque, we will wait until it clears before processing the order.
If for any reason we cannot despatch your order within 7 working days (excluding weekends), we will notify you by telephone or email. You will be given the opportunity to cancel the item(s) out of stock, or be given an expected date of delivery.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee exact timescales for delivery. Royal Mail can take up to 14 days to deliver your package within the UK mainland. Orders for non-mainland UK may take slightly longer.
Our standard delivery charge from Monday - Friday (excluding public holidays) for UK mainland is £2.95.
If your order is lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly. Half Price Hearing cannot be held responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen packages.
Regrettably, we are unable to supply any of our products outside the UK.
We always aim to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. Perceived faults can usually be resolved by a simple call to our Customer Services Team on +44 (0) 1796 482 113, so please call or email us firstname.lastname@example.org before returning goods.
While we cannot guarantee that our products will prove effective in every case, the success rate is very high. We therefore guarantee if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase from Half Price Hearing you can return it to us under our 14 day money back guarantee.
Should you require to return your order to us you should include paperwork with your original order number stated, a description of the defect, your name and address, a contact telephone number and state whether you would like a refund or replacement. Goods are returned at the customer's expense and we advise obtaining 'proof of delivery' as Half Price Hearing are not liable for goods lost in transit.
Half Price Hearing will refund the full amount of the products purchased, less the original postage and packing paid, as long as the batteries are returned in a new and unused condition.
This disclaimer does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Please note some of our processes are manual and errors can occur. We carry out frequent checks to detect any errors. If they do occur we will act immediately to minimise inconvenience and disappointment that may be caused. We reserve the right to cancel any order where obvious errors in pricing or product description have occurred.
Applicable law - These Terms and Conditions and any contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Scots Law and the Scottish courts shall have jurisdiction over any disputes between us.
Statutory Rights - These Terms and Conditions are in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer, which remain unaffected.
